Execution of a death sentence for a heroin trafficker in the Eastern Province • Al-Marsad newspaper

Al-Marsad Newspaper: The Interior Ministry issued a statement regarding the application of the death penalty for a heroin smuggler in Eastern Province, as follows:

قال الله تعالى: (إِنَّمَا جَزَاءُ الَّذِينَ يُحَارِبُونَ اللَّهَ وَرَسُولَهُ وَيَسْعَوْنَ فِي الْأَرْضِ فَسَادًا أَن يُقَتَّلُوا أَوْ يُصَلَّبُوا أَوْ تُقَطَّعَ أَيْدِيهِمْ وَأَرْجُلُهُم مِّنْ خِلَافٍ أَوْ يُنفَوْا مِنَ الْأَرْضِ ذَلِكَ لَهُمْ خِزْيٌ فِي الدُّنْيَا وَلَهُمْ فِي الْآخِرَةِ عَذَابٌ عَظِيمٌ).

By the grace of God, Qwalzar Khan Mint Khan, a ‘Pakistan national’, was arrested when he was smuggling heroin, and the investigation resulted in him being charged with what was attributed to him, and referring him to court, a document was issued against of him containing the proof of his guilt therein and a sentence to kill him in reinforcement, and the verdict was upheld by an appellate tribunal and the Supreme Court, and a royal order was issued for the execution of the legal decision and supported by his reference, and the death sentence was carried out as ta’zir against the author / Qwalazar Khan Mint Khan, Sunday 19/04/1444 AH in the eastern region.

And the Ministry of the Interior, in announcing it to confirm to public opinion the solicitude of the government of the Guardian of the Two Holy Mosques – may God protect him – in combating drugs of all kinds due to the serious damage they cause to individuals and societies and to impose the severest punishments on the guilty, deriving his approach from God’s just law, and at the same time warning all who undertake this that legal punishment will be his lot – and God is the Guide to the right path.
