We already knew that Xbox Game Studios has several exclusive games in development with third-party studios as producers, including something from Kojima Productions (Death Stranding) and People Can Fly (Bulletstorm, Outriders) as well as already announced titles such as Contraband, Towerborne and Ara: History Untold.
But it turns out there are far more projects in the works, and it seems most of them are titles we’ve never heard of. Crystin Cox, Director of Live Game Operations at Xbox Game Studios, has the following to say about all of this in a new video shared by Microsoft:
“So there are quite a few projects that we’re working on right now, and we have over a dozen games that we’re working on at the moment. Every single one of those projects is completely unique, and we approach them in a very tailored way.”
If we’re lucky, we might at least see a sign of life from a project or two on Thursday (September 21) when Microsoft holds an exhibition during Tokyo Game Showwhich we have reported on previously.
You can check out the video below for the quote itself, fast forward to approx. 5 minutes and 30 seconds when the good stuff starts. Is there a particular studio you hope will make a game with Microsoft?
