Exclusive videos of Al-Arabiya / Al-Hadath from inside the Saudi Airlines plane showed the first minutes of the start of the clash between the army and the Rapid Support Forces inside Khartoum Airport, on Saturday.

One of the passengers from inside the plane documented a video clip of the military forces and armored vehicles entering Khartoum Airport amidst gunfire.

This comes at a time when it is difficult to diagnose the situation on the ground, as the Rapid Support Forces announced that they had taken control of Khartoum International Airport, on Saturday, which the army denied.

Earlier, television footage from the international airport inside the city showed a raging fire with plumes of black smoke, and satellite images showed destroyed planes.

The media center of Saudi Arabian Airlines said that the company’s Airbus plane had an accident at Khartoum International Airport before taking off, heading to Riyadh, on Saturday morning.

Since Saturday morning, the Sports City area and separate parts of Khartoum State and the city of Marawi, northern Sudan, have been witnessing clashes between the armed forces and the Rapid Support Forces, in which explosions, exchanges of fire, and plumes of smoke were heard.
