The bill is growing. According to our information, the envelope for 2022 of the “Ségur de la santé” should reach a dozen billion euros, including more than 2 billion in new spending that year.
As a reminder, the Ségur agreements of July 2020, the result of a broad consultation carried out after the first wave of Covid, had resulted in a massive salary increase in hospitals and nursing homes, as well as the launch of a investment and hospital debt recovery. The “Ségur” had cost 1.5 billion euros in 2020, to which should be added 8.2 billion in 2021 (9.7 billion in total), then another 2.1 billion in 2022 (11.8 billion) .
