Indian was invited to play a preview version of the upcoming action FPS/adventure Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora. We were able to go through around 2 hours of content and we bring you our footage, including first impressions of the entire game. It will be a hit before the end of the year, or Ubisoft is in for a cold shower… the problem is that we ourselves don’t know.
⚠️ Ubisoft limited the preview version to the resolution 1080p. We don’t know what the game settings were or the hardware used. We played the PC version, we assume it was medium details. Perhaps FSR or DLSS was active, but this cannot be confirmed. So, in 4K and on a more powerful set, the game could look better, and quite likely Ubisoft is deliberately showing medium details now rather than high-end. It wouldn’t be the first time. Please take this only as additional information to the video – it’s up to you how you evaluate it.
Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora will be released on December 7/2023 for PC (Ubisoft Connect), PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S.
