The creation is called Mansory Gronos Coupé EVO C and it is definitely not to be missed. The model car is clad in a paint called Fludium Paint Chrome Atmosphere, which changes between different shades of color depending on the angle of the incident light, with which the Brand people show potential customers that nothing is really impossible and nothing is too much.
The cosmetic statement (or knock-out, if you will) doesn’t just apply to the paint – in fact, there’s been quite a bit of work done to the car’s structure. An astute reader noticed the absence of the rear pair of doors, which made it possible to move the B-pillar by 12 cm, while the front doors are longer by the same amount.
Another significant change is the attachment of the door hinges not in the A-pillar as in the original car, but in the B-pillar, so that the doors open against the direction of travel, and the handles have also been relocated. The side glazing is now completely new, as the panes of glass are considerably longer.
Bodywork changes are visible despite the distinctive coloring – the front mask is completely new with a new bumper, above it rises a carbon hood with a prominent intake opening. The bumper is newly fitted with deep yellow fog lights, similar headlights are located on the roof.
Viewed from the side, we see prominent side sills and brand new wheels, the design of which is exclusive to Mercedes Gronos, the 24-inch rims are 10 inches wide and shod with 295/30 tires. At the back we find a new bumper, new exhaust tips, and a decent spoiler rises on the upper edge of the once fifth, now third door.
Mansory usually has a habit of modifying the engines in a style as radical as the appearance of the car. And Mansory Gronos is no exception. The 4.0-liter twin-turbo eight-cylinder originally from the AMG G63 received new turbochargers, new intake and exhaust pipes and finally a new control unit.
The result is a colossal 900 horsepower and 1,200 Nm of torque, thanks to which this crumb manages to sprint from rest to 100 km/h in 3.3 seconds. The maximum speed is 250 km/h – but it is electronically limited. For the additional armored version, it is expected that the performances will be slightly worse.
Due to the custom two-door body, the car also received new seats including a folding mechanism. The rear seats were then replaced by two comfortable armchairs separated by a central tunnel with controls for seat heating and ventilation, or massage functions. A cooler for a bottle of premium sparkling wine was added in the middle behind the seats.
It is difficult to define the design of the interior here – the design of each Mansory Gronos car is created exactly according to the customer’s wishes, which also applies to the interior, hence the commemorative plaque with the inscription “One of One”.
In addition, the production of this two-door bodywork specialty dotted with forged carbon decor is strictly limited to just 8 pieces. The biggest score on this wagon is the fact that Mansory doesn’t even list the price – it’s only on request for serious buyers.
How much do you estimate the price of the Mansory Mansory Gronos Coupé EVO C?
