According to information recently released by “91mobiles”, the CAD files of the iPhone 16 Pro have been exposed, and the design is consistent with previous rumors. Last fall, the iPhone 15 Pro added an Action button, and this fall, Apple seems to be planning to make minor adjustments to the size of the hardware.

According to reports, the iPhone 16 Pro is expected to introduce a second new button, which will be the second consecutive year of adding new buttons after last year. The rumored Capture button is planned to be placed on the lower right side of the iPhone 16 Pro. This button is expected to make camera control more convenient and allow the Action button to be used for other tasks.
Furthermore, this button is expected to be much more than a simple shutter button. Speaking of cameras, going from the current 1080p resolution limit of the iPhone 15 Pro to 4K spatial video capture will be a good upgrade.

iPhone 16 Pro design and size changes
91mobiles also said that it has “received the dimensions of the upcoming device,” with the iPhone 16 Pro measuring 149.6×71.4×8.4mm compared to the iPhone 15 Pro. The screen size is expected to increase from 6.1 inches to 6.3 inches. So far, the subtle external changes to the iPhone 16 Pro seem unlikely to be dramatic.

Hardware upgrades and expected improvements
Other changes expected in this fall’s new hardware include faster WiFi, upgraded 5G, and the usual speed boost in performance from Apple’s processors. Given Apple’s focus on artificial intelligence this year, an enhanced neural engine for next-generation processors is expected to be one of the highlights. In terms of colors, maybe there will be “new yellow” and gray.
