The driver commented on what happened to NOVA

NOVA has exclusive footage from the moment of the bus accident in the Sliven village of Zhelyu voivoda. The vehicle fell into an irrigation canal from a bridge.

“I coughed for seconds and it turned out I passed out. I feel sick,” explained the bus driver.

The police specified that the speed of the bus was very low. The railing of the bridge held the vehicle back, which prevented more serious consequences.

There were 7 passengers in the bus, none of whom were seriously injured. A 76-year-old woman was examined in hospital. She’s scared and with a few bruises.
