Every year during this season, people in different regions of the world come together to celebrate Carnival. These celebrations are some of the largest and most famous street parties in the world, which originated centuries ago in Europe and are extremely popular today in Latin America and the Caribbean, especially Brazil.
In 2021 we will not be able to celebrate Carnival in the streets in the same way we were used to. But that doesn’t mean we can’t celebrate in the company of our fellow Pokémon and virtually connect with our family and friends. That’s why we’re excited to introduce the first Carnival celebration in Pokémon GO!
