In the opening goal of Ndombele against Wolverhampton
Last-minute equalizer allowed, missed another victory
Tottenham drew 1-1 with Wolverhampton in the English Premier League (EPL) round 15 visit match held at the Molynew Stadium in Wolverhampton, England on the 28th. Son Heung-min, who was not recognized even after scoring a goal in the Carabao Cup quarterfinal against Stoke City on the 24th due to a poor offside decision, scored no goal for three consecutive games.
Tottenham scored the opening goal in 57 seconds in the first half. After Son Heung-min raised a corner kick from the left, Ben Davis (27, England) gave the ball to the back, and Tanggi Ndombele (24, France) finished with a powerful right-footed shot. According to football statistics company Opta, Ndombele’s goal is the second in the shortest time to score EPL goals outside the penalty area. However, Tottenham lost the victory with an equalizer in the 41st minute of the second half. In the 39th minute of the second half, Son Heung-min was substituted and conceded in 2 minutes. Tottenham scored a dramatic 1-1 tie with Son Heung-min’s goal in the 13th round against Liverpool, but just before the end of the match, they scored a goal and lost 1-2. Tottenham coach Jose Mourinho said after the game, “I stopped threatening players for 90 minutes, but I am very disappointed, like Liverpool, who conceded in the last set piece. “We had no aspirations.” Son Heung-min will challenge the 100th goal again in the EPL home game against Fulham on the 31st.
