It was in their company that Václav watched the part in which Ortel fell to leave the competition. “The truth? I was quite ashamed of myself. I was nervous and I was completely drawn into the action. I went back a year, but it was very interesting, “ he revealed how he had repeatedly experienced that day full of mental strain. Among other things, his friends were behind the fact that Václav signed up for the confectionery and bakery show. “It was a heck that obviously came out. I was an amateur among professionals in that competition, “ said Vašek, who hung a baking nail after the competition and prefers to devote himself to his true passion – coffee.
Halama: Coffee is his passion
“I work behind the bar, so I’m just making coffee …” Halama said, adding that he would like his own business one day. “Of course I would like to, but I still think I’m quite young to open and run the café, ” Said Vašek, who allegedly enjoys making coffee more than baking.
During his time in the Bake the Whole Country competition, he met with a wave of criticism from the audience, but he did not take it to heart. ”We all saw how it went. The people around me were on a different level. I don’t know why I stayed there that long, “ admitted Václav, who eventually managed to fight his way up to the fifth round of the competition.
Thanks to the show, his face became known to many people. In the café where Václav works, they had no need for customers even before he worked in the competition, so they don’t feel like walking advertising. “We had hot flashes there before. Given that a lot of tourists go there, I don’t even distinguish if there are more Czechs, “ said the sympathetic former contestant concluded.
