EXCLUDED RTL – David Hallyday hopes that Sylvie Vartan’s tour “will not be the last”

Sylvie Vartan will say goodbye to the stage, after 60 years of career and 40 million records sold. The singer, who will celebrate her 80th birthday on August 15, announces that she will go on tour one last time. It’s a page that is turning for his fans, but also for his son, David Hallyday, who spoke exclusively to RTL.

“Obviously it moves me, yes. There are so many memories, in terms of emotions, it’s going to be huge“, began David Hallyday, who recalled the sacrifices made by his mother. “She sang everywhere, I’m still learning about it today. Few have gone this far, I find it absolutely extraordinary. At the same time, it was his life,” he said.

“I hope it won’t be the last, unless she doesn’t want it, obviously,” said David Hallyday about Sylvie Vartan’s final tour. “I still want to go see her in concert, it reminds me of things too. That’s what it’s like when you have a family of artists, there are so many memories.” “You have to go see her, hoping that it won’t be the last,” concluded David Hallyday.
