On February 25, France 3 will broadcast a new number of the musical show Come on, I’ll take you. The program will be devoted to the greatest duets of variety, including the hit Paroles … parole … interpreted by Dalida and Alain Delon, who moreover lived a short idyll, on which Orlando, the singer’s brother, returned in an interview with Télé Star.

A musical encounter that would never have been possible without Orlando, the singer’s brother, who found the idea for this song on the other side of the Alps. “I had heard it during a stay in Italy. In Italian, it was a song that served as the theme song for a variety show”he confided in our columns, adding that he had immediately smelled that this music was made for his sister who immediately knew with whom she wanted to interpret it: “As soon as I heard it, I thought it would be a good song for Dalida. I called the publisher to block the rights. I had Dalida listen to it. She was immediately enthusiastic and thought of Alain Delon.”
It must be said that Dalida and Alain Delon have already known each other for several years at that time and had forged solid ties. “They had met in Paris, at their beginnings, in the mid-1950s. They occupied maids’ rooms on the same floor”the report Orlando.

And a few years later, the two artists will even have a short affair, as recalled by Dalida’s brother, who only discovered it many years later. “They met again in Rome around 1963-1964 and there was a story between them. I was unaware of their romance, I only learned of it when the disc was recorded. It took place in November 1972 and it came out in February 1973″said Orlando. And almost 55 years after this relationship, Anthony Delonas a symbol, began a love affair with Italian actress Sveva Alviti, who took on the role of Dalida in Lisa Azuelos’ 2017 biopic.
