There’s still a lot of work to be done on “Star Wars Eclipse” before we get the game Quantic Dream can experience. Since its announcement in 2021, news about the “Star Wars” title set in the High Republic period has been limited. Thanks to an interview by IGN we now get an exciting update.
In an interview with Quantic Dreams Vice President of Marketing Lisa Pendse tells us that “Star Wars Eclipse” is an action adventure, as we describe it Quantic Dream would expect. This means highly branched storylines, different playable characters and that all characters in the game can die without the game being interrupted by a ‘game over’. Nevertheless, the game differs in type from the studio’s last games. It is said that the studio is in the process of “expanding its expertise in the area of gameplay even further.”
