It’s been almost a year since the launch of Mortal Kombat 1, and to celebrate the first anniversary of the game, a big new DLC with new characters is coming to the fighting game. Cyrax is the first character we got a good look at.
In the new timeline, Cyrax is a woman, and has not given up body and soul to become a Cyber Lin-Kuei, but instead receives her powers from a cyber suit she wears. However, she has the web and bombs that Cyrax players are used to.
In addition to gameplay in the trailer below, we also see a lot of story footage, including the reveal of Sektor, who will be the antithesis of Cyrax as in the previous games. Finally, we get a gory death to end things, including a look at Cyrax’s Animality.
