If you plan to visit the Walt Disney Resort in Orlando in 2024, get ready for a magical experience! In addition to the unusual experience, park visitors need to pay attention to new developments.

Starting this year, the park announced important updates, promising to make your trip to the enchanted world of Disney even more unforgettable.

From new attractions to unique experiences, check out the details on the magic that awaits people this year at Walt Disney Resort.

The return of meal plans

An exciting new feature recently came into effect: the return of the meal plan.

The exclusive service offers Disney hotel guests the opportunity to pre-pay, receiving coupons that can be used for dining at more than 200 locations in the parks and at Disney Springs.

With two options available, the ‘Quick Service’ (QS) plan provides two meals a day in quick service restaurants, including a drink, a snack and a mug for unlimited use of various drinks at the hotel, for US$57 for adults and U$27 for children, per day.

The ‘Quick Service + Table Service’ (QS + TS) plan offers a daily meal at quick service restaurants, a drink, plus another meal at a full service restaurant, accompanied by a snack and a mug for unlimited use of drinks at the hotel, for US$94 for adults and US$30 for children, per day.

‘Park Hopper’ release

The measure, related to tickets with the ‘Park Hopper’ option, was implemented during the pandemic at the Walt Disney Resort and will be modified this year.

Until the 9th, visitors could only change parks after 2pm. This restriction has now been removed, giving guests more flexibility to explore theme parks according to their preferences.

The end of the reservation

One of the decisions made when Disney locations reopened, after the pandemic period, was the obligation to make a reservation to visit the chosen park.

Buying a ticket did not guarantee entry, as without a reservation, visitors would not be able to access the site. Initially adopted as a way to control the flow of people, this practice became part of the daily routine.

The requirement ended on January 9th of this year, and now people no longer need to make reservations to enjoy the magic of Disney parks.
