For its part, Mexico will return to this event with the theater group Lagartijas tiradas al sol, which was already in 2022, this time with the play Lázaro, which explores the borders between scenic fiction and everyday reality.
It was previously known that the Brazilian dance company Atelie do Gesto will be one of the main attractions of the festival with its choreography O Crivo (Cross in Spanish).
From May 15 to 20, FAE 2023 will also have the participation of casts from the region, such as the staging of Una (Argentina).
This meeting will present free social segments such as its section dedicated to the neighborhoods with attendance for the first time at the children’s theater of the state primary schools of popular sectors.
They will also teach the so-called Training Laboratory, which allows performing arts students from public schools and universities and young artists to strengthen their knowledge through workshops taught by renowned teachers.
