Exciting Electric Cars In Stock – The Electric Cars You Get The Day

The aftermath of the pandemic, with closures in China and the war in Ukraine, have created difficulties for car manufacturers.

The parts needed by subcontractors are missing, from computer chips to wiring. As a result, Norwegian customers have to wait a long time for the cars they ordered.

For some popular electric car models, we talk about waiting times of a year or more. This applies, for example, to BMW i4, Kia EV6, Skoda Enyaq and VW ID4 with all-wheel drive.

But not everything is black.

It may appear that the delivery situation is starting to improve slightly on some models. We checked with importers and it turned out that there are several exciting electric cars in stock in Norway. You take them on the day, so to speak.

This applies, for example, to the Xpeng P7, which is almost as big as the Tesla Model S, albeit with a shorter range, but at half the price.

Affordable cars such as Citroën ë-C4, Opel Mokka-e and Opel Corsa-e are also available. By day you can also get the large Nio ES8 SUV and classic Hyundai Ioniq Electric.

The Hyundai Kona Electric will be delivered within a few weeks.

We also checked which electric cars can be delivered to Norwegian customers before the new year. There are more than 35 models on this list. If you want to buy a new electric car, in other words, there is a good choice.

Delivered before Christmas

Some of the 35 models that can be delivered before the new year have slightly less equipment. Also, the color selection may be limited. Factories and importers did this in order to take cars off the assembly line.

For example: if you want a Tesla Model Y, apply black and white. These cars come from the Berlin factory. You are unlikely to have a car on this side of the New Year, but not long after that.

VAT or not?

Please note that the delivery situation can change quickly. Resellers can provide more accurate information, including which equipment you should choose or avoid to get the fastest possible delivery. In addition, some cars may have appeared in Norway that have not yet been sold.

For more expensive electric cars, delivery times around New Year’s Eve are important. The government has announced that VAT will be introduced on electric cars from January 1, 2023. This means that cars costing more than NOK 500,000 will receive VAT and therefore a 25% mark-up on the purchase price that exceeds half a million. NOK.

Don’t let yourself go

An electric car costing NOK 700,000 will then receive NOK 50,000 more VAT. A car costing NOK 900,000 will also receive VAT of NOK 100,000. If you order a new car today, which will only be delivered after the new year, you will not escape this surcharge.
