Exciting day trip to Linz on 9 November

After a break of several years, the time has come again: Traunreut is going on a trip and is inviting all citizens to an exciting day trip to the Upper Austrian capital Linz. Together with the bus company Marx Reisen from Fridolfing, the city of Traunreut is organizing a day trip to the Danube city with a city tour and additional supporting program.

Traunreut – The trip costs 35 euros per person and includes the return trip in modern long-distance coaches. The cost of the two-hour city tour is covered by the city of Traunreut. In the afternoon there is the possibility of additional program items can be booked for a fee.

These are:

  • a 45-minute boat trip on the Danube for 14 € per person
  • a guided tour through the world of steel including a factory tour of the Voestalpine company for 16 € per person
  • Visit to the Ars Electronica Center for 12 € per person

Registration by 18 October at the latest

“With the trip to Linz, we are fulfilling the wish of some citizens from last year’s town hall meetings and are reviving an old tradition. I would be very pleased if the city’s travel offer was well received,” said First Mayor Hans-Peter Dangschat. Departure on November 9th is at 7 a.m. from Traunreut Town Hall Square, and the return is at around 7 p.m. back at Town Hall Square.

Registration for the day trip and the optional program items is required. There is a registration form on the website of the city of Traunreut, which must be filled out and sent to Marx Reisen by email, post or fax by October 18th at the latest.
