Exciting Cultural Agenda in San Juan: Comedy, Music, Fashion, and Theater

Next weekend, San Juan is preparing for an exciting cultural agenda. From humor to Cuyo music and a renowned theater production, there will be activities for all tastes.

The fun begins on Thursday, November 2 at the Sarmiento Theater, where comedian Miguel Martin, known as “El Oficial Gordillo”, will make his triumphant return to the city. After his successful sold-out double feature in June, he presents his new show “Gordillo Amigo (de lo ajeno).”

It is a show full of humor for the whole family, where the officer will recount multiple operations and show the new “Polesiaca Tenology.” The performances will take place at 8 and 10 p.m., and are suitable for all audiences.

On Friday, November 3 and Saturday, November 4, the Juan Victoria Auditorium will come alive with the “San Juan Celebra La Cuyanía” Festival starting at 7 p.m. Attendees will have the opportunity to explore a fair of local artisans and entrepreneurs, where they can acquire representative products of the province and enjoy local creativity.

At 9 p.m., the Buenaventura Luna Amphitheater will present outstanding Cuyo musicians, providing a unique musical experience. To close, at 11 p.m., the Auditorium gardens will be transformed into a rock, providing an intimate and festive atmosphere for all those present. In addition, an exquisite gastronomic proposal will be available to complement the experience, allowing Cuyo music to remain the center of the evening.

Design and fashion lovers will also have their space in this cultural agenda, with the second edition of the fair in the chalet’s shop on November 4, from 6 to 11 pm. This fair will have a children’s sector, gastronomic options, and it will be pet friendly. More than 40 local designers will be presenting their creations at this free entry event.

Finally, on November 4 and 5 at 6 p.m., the Bicentennial Theater will witness the magic of “The Little Prince” by Rachel Portman, a production of the Teatro Colón. With more than 85 artists on stage, choirs and a live orchestra, this staging directed by Marian Ciolfi promises to capture the imagination of the San Juan public.
