The phenomenon of the large number of motorbikes being sold online after the dissolution of the Belasting Rijder motorbike club by the Minister of Finance (Minister of Finance) Sri Mulyani turned out to be the focus of the Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK). KPK Deputy for Prevention, Pahala Nainggolan said that his party was still tracing who sold the motorbikes on the marketplace. However, several names of motorbike sellers have been pocketed by the KPK and then forwarded to the Inspectorate of the Ministry of Finance.
“We are transporting the names of the sellers to the Inspectorate of the Ministry of Finance, whose names are these employees? We suspect that these are employees of the Directorate General of Taxes, but actually we have collected the names and taken them to the Ministry of Finance to look for them, are there any employee names,” Pahala Nainggolan was quoted as saying. from Antara, Friday (3/3/2023).
In order to dig further, the motorbikes being sold were also traced in coordination with Samsat. This is necessary to find out the real identity of the owner of the MOGE.
“We start with Samsat, usually like that and at Samsat we are given where to import it, when, we can find it. Therefore, before we go there, we will look for the simplest one first, name, BPKB,” he added.
“It could be not a tax (employee), it could be his wife, child, you don’t know,” he added.
Minister of Finance Sri Mulyani Indrawati firmly asked the community of tax workers who like to ride big motorbikes or Moge named Blastin Rijder DGT to be disbanded. According to him, the hobby and lifestyle of officials driving motorbikes creates negative perceptions in society.
