A mini-company has once again emerged within the Giraut-de-Borneil school complex in Excideuil, with the support of the Haut Périgord Business Club. The project concerns 17 1st STMG students. The goal was to experience entrepreneurship in a fun and professional way during class hours.

Thus, 17 positions were to be filled. The young people were supervised by Ms. Delarue, their economics management teacher and Mr. Wecxsteen, librarian professor. These positions were in various fields: in production, in the communications department, in the financial department, in business management, etc.

First, Monday, November 20, for the arrival of the professionals responsible for job interviews, the high school students were all dressed to the nines, ready to present themselves, discuss and argue to obtain the desired position.

Ms. Chastain and Murat as well as Mr. Suire have once again agreed to come to the school campus to voluntarily assist the teachers in charge of this mini-company. The mentors, Pierre Sutour and Patrick Grandchamp, from the Entreprendre pour lire association, supported the students in producing their CVs and cover letters.

Four services

The announcement of the assignments took place on Monday, November 27. Then, the mini-company, organized into four departments (sales, communication, finance and production), was able to start.

Thanks to the interviews carried out, each student will have their place and will have to do their best so that the collective progresses towards achieving a common task: running their mini-business. This adventure should help them develop their professional and personal skills.
