Psychological pressure, nerves on the march and unpleasant revelations. That’s how Táňa remembers filming The Wife Exchange. She was most struck when she found out that her surrogate husband, Ondra, was cheating on his partner, Jana. They agreed between the eight eyes that they would each go their own way. How did it turn out between them?
Tanya felt that no one was helping her at home, and she found a solution in her application Exchanges of wives. She and her husband Kamil raise 17-year-old Peter and 10-year-old twins Martin and Ondra in Frýdek-Místek. After participating in a reality show, their relationship allegedly shifted unbelievably.
“I realized that there was no need to clean up twenty times a day. Now I prefer to take care of my family. I already know I can’t scream, I really screamed. I’m just so different. I’m not the type who even minds a sweatshirt on the ground. There’s a difference between a brothel and dirt. “ describes Táňa’s main changes.
He does not remember 10 days spent in the household of Jana and Ondra from Krnov at best. She was crushed by conversations about infidelity, as Ondra shook her partner and Jana found out about her lover.
“I was close to getting on my nerves several times. So twice three times for sure. When the infidelity I hate was dealt with. I didn’t argue with Ondra, but it was more of a mental nature, like I was exhausted, “she continued.
Ondra claimed in front of the cameras that Jana was the first to be unfaithful to him. “I didn’t do it until now. But I’m still sorry I did,” he said.
Their relationship broke down at the end of the Exchange. The two then fought and returned to each other.
“We are together now and we are working as we should. We talk a lot. I always tell friends that Exchange has opened my eyes, that it’s perhaps better than marriage counseling, “ Jana confided. “Maybe we were angry, suffocated and didn’t know how to talk about it. He was to blame and I was to blame,” she added.
Táňa also noticed that Jana did not have an ideal relationship with her six-year-old daughter Amálka. She didn’t have time for her due to working in a pub, where she often had to stay overnight. But even that has changed now.
“I changed jobs, I found a normal place and I’m home every afternoon. We’re on weekends together. We spend more time together now, it’s not like I’m at work at night, “says Jana.
Families remain in contact, but it is rather sporadic. “Jana sometimes writes to her husband, but I just don’t have to. I’ll say that at the fair. I don’t need Ondra to live, he wouldn’t be a good friend for me either. As a person, he disappointed me, “concluded Táňa.
