Exchange rates 09.03. The zloty is slowly recovering [Kurs dolara, funta, euro, franka, rubla]

National Tuesday Bank Poland has published information on averages exchange rates. The next table will be presented on Wednesday, March 9 on the website NBP. New data should be expected between 11:45 and 12:15.

Average exchange rates of the National Bank of Poland – Tuesday March 8, 2022 [Kurs dolara, funta, euro, franka, rubla]:

• Euro exchange rate: PLN 4.9121,
• dollar exchange rate: PLN 4.5115,
• Swiss franc exchange rate: PLN 4.8579,
• pound sterling rate: PLN 5.9196,
• Russian ruble rate: PLN 0.0330.

Interest rates up, but the market disappointed. The zloty is weakening again

Live exchange rates – Wednesday 09/03/2022 [Kurs dolara, funta, euro, franka, rubla]:

On Tuesday, the Monetary Policy Council decided to raise the NBP reference rate by 0.75 percentage points. to the level of 3.50 percent. This is the highest level in nine years, although the rate hike was lower than expected by some economists.

Wednesday morning we see how golden is slowly making up for the losses it suffered as a result of the war in Ukraine. The Polish currency is still very far from the levels from the beginning of this year. As of 7:23, dollar is losing 1,21 percent and costs PLN 4.46. We observe similar fluctuations in the case of the Swiss franc and pound sterling. The PLN / CHF pair is currently PLN 4.80, and PLN / GBP is PLN 5.85. Euro also loses and you have to pay PLN 4.87 for it. Meanwhile, the Russian ruble costs PLN 0.03 and increased by 4.24%.

It should be emphasized that in connection with the war in Ukraine, the situation is very dynamic and changes from minute to minute.
