Exchange of Banknotes and Coins: National Bank of Ukraine and Authorized Banks

As stated in the message, we are talking about banknotes in denominations of 1, 2, 5, 10, 20, 50, 100 and 200 hryvnia samples until 2003 of all years of issue, as well as change coins in denominations of 1, 2, 5 and 25 kopecks.

To authorized banks: Oschadbank, PrivatBank, Raiffeisen Bank, PUMB. For up-to-date information in which branches and branches you can make an exchange, you need to find out on the official websites of these banks.

Citizens will be able to exchange such change coins and banknotes for other coins and banknotes of all denominations in circulation in multiples of 10 kopecks (for change coins) without charging a fee.

Removal of banknotes and coins from circulation

Recall that from October 1, 2019, coins of 1, 2 and 5 kopecks have ceased to be a means of payment and are withdrawn from cash circulation.

Also, from October 1, 2020, coins with a face value of 25 kopecks are withdrawn from circulation and the process of withdrawing banknotes with denominations of 1, 2, 5, 10, 20, 50, 100 and 200 hryvnia samples until 2003 of all years of issue is being completed.
