Deurne –
A whale skeleton from eight to nine million years ago was excavated at a construction site at AZ Monica in Deurne on Friday. Bones have also been found from three other whales. “We know that there are many cetaceans in the bottom in this layer at a depth of 6.5 meters, but this is really an exceptional find,” says paleontologist Mark Bosselaers.
