This was announced by the chairman of the BSP, Mihail Mikov, after a meeting with representatives of trade unions, employers, and industrialists.
In the discussion initiated by the BSP, the deputy chairmen of the Parliamentary Group of the BSP LEFT BULGARIA Atanas Merdzhanov and Kornelia Ninova, as well as the MPs Rumen Gechev and Petar Kanev, also took part.
According to Mikov, an excess of the budget deficit will be harmful and dangerous for the country:
“There are reserves in the revenue part, including with the growing consumption right before the Christmas and New Year holidays,” added the leader of the Socialists. According to him, expenses were incurred during his term of office without taking into account the development of the revenue part. Mikov added that issues related to tax policy, garbage tax, social security issues were also discussed at the meeting.
The representatives of the trade unions and employers agreed with the theses of the left about the need not to exceed the budget deficit of 3% and that there are reserves that can be used from the revenue part.
