Excalibur International Presents Advanced Ballistic Missile System at IDEF 2023 Fair with Czechoslovak Group

At the IDEF 2023 fair, Excalibur International will present, in the form of detailed models of individual components, a complete medium-range ballistic missile system, on which it is working as a system architect and integrator with the Turkish defense industry and with several defense industry companies in the Czech Republic. With this project, Excalibur International together with its partners has already succeeded, for example, in Indonesia, where in the fall of last year it won a contract for the KHAN ballistic missile system for more than 500 million euros.

The tactical ballistic missile system has a range of several hundreds of kilometers, and can thus effectively attack strategically and tactically important targets, such as command posts, air defense systems, missile and artillery systems or elements of critical military infrastructure, even deep in the rear in enemy territory. Thanks to the latest targeting and guidance technologies, the system does not need any additional support from radar systems or meteorological sensors and similar equipment for its operation. All system components, such as launchers, command stations, charging systems or service support, are placed on Tatra Force chassis produced by Tatra Trucks. The Kopřivnica automaker will be represented at the IDEF 2023 trade fair by representatives of the Tatra Export company.

IDEF (The International Defense Industry Fair) is a defense industry fair that has been organized every two years by the Turkish Armed Forces Foundation since 1993. This year will be the 16th edition, during which more than 1,000 domestic and foreign companies will be presented on an area of 120,000 m2 and in 14 halls. In 2021, over 500 Turkish and more than 700 foreign exhibitors from 53 countries presented themselves in Istanbul during the 15th edition. The fair welcomed official delegations from 81 countries and recorded 68,795 visitors from among the professional public from 94 countries.
