A 40-year-old man, who “was waiting for a consultation, got angry, took his car and drove into the hospital”, according to a police source. His gesture injured four people in the waiting room, but none seriously, said Melun prosecutor Béatrice Angelelli. Only a 75-year-old woman suffered a broken leg. Arrested on the spot, the individual was taken to the Provins police station and an investigation was opened for violence with a weapon. The condition of the suspect having proved incompatible with police custody, the prosecution ordered compulsory hospitalization for psychiatric problems, said the prosecutor.
