Examined by KPK, F-PSI Members of DKI DPRD Asked to Explain Process of Formula E budget planning

JAKARTA, KOMPAS.com – Member of the Indonesian Solidarity Party (PSI) faction of the DKI Jakarta DPRD, Anggara Wicitra, said that his presence at the Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) building today, Wednesday (3/2/2022), was to provide the necessary information regarding the alleged corruption case in the administration of the Republic of Indonesia. Formula E.

He admitted that he was asked by the KPK to explain the planning process Formula E budget Jakarta, which will be held on June 4, 2022.

“I was asked to explain from the beginning to the end of the budget planning discussion process until today’s conditions,” Anggara said when contacted via text message, Wednesday.

Anggara admitted that he had conveyed various facts needed by the KPK.

“All the facts that I convey are expected to help investigators carry out their duties,” said Anggara.

The deputy chairman of Commission E of the DKI DPRD also brought documents requested by the KPK related to the 2019 and 2020 DKI Jakarta Regional Revenue and Expenditure Budget (APBD).

However, he did not convey in detail about the documents in question because the material was already included in the realm of the KPK’s examination.

“The documents requested by the KPK but I can’t tell you the details from where (and) what,” he said.

Anggara said the KPK investigators asked him 20 questions during the examination.

Furthermore, Anggara said he would respect the legal process carried out by the KPK.

“We just respect the process, because the one who can answer that is this (investigation) process,” he said.
