Examination of 3642 women in a reproductive health convoy in El-Sinblaween, Dakahlia

Dr. Sherif Makin, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Health in Dakahlia, emphasized the intensification of the work of free reproductive and medical health convoys to improve living conditions in the areas most in need and enable them to obtain all basic services, ingredients and needs for their citizens and reduce the burdens on their shoulders.

The Family Planning Department organized a reproductive health convoy in the center and city of Senbellaween, which included the provision of comprehensive medical services, as part of the “Our Days Are Better” campaign.

Dr. Sharif Makin indicated that about 1,592 internal cases were detected, in addition to 1,564 who visited the children’s clinic in the convoy.



Dr. Iman Al-Sayed, Director of the Family Planning Department, said that rural women pioneers participated in the “Our Days” campaign, and the total number of beneficiaries reached about 3,642 women through 51 fixed units and 3 mobile clinics.

The Ministry of Health had also announced the launch of a number of convoys for family planning and reproductive health in the governorates as part of the “Our Days Are Better” initiative to provide free family planning services and means to beneficiaries in villages and areas deprived of such services.

This comes within the framework of the ministry’s plan to limit population increase, concern for the public health of citizens, and achieve Egypt’s Vision 2023.
