Exam dates in health units within the President’s initiative to support women – learn about them now!

The Ministry of Health announced the start of research positions in health units related to the President’s Initiative to Support Women’s Health, an initiative that aims to provide the necessary health care to women in different parts of the country. Inspections are carried out daily from 9am to 3pm, except on Fridays, when units are closed.

Early detection and free treatment

The Ministry of Health explained on its Facebook page that all examinations, follow-ups and treatments are provided free of charge in this campaign. The medical services provided are based on the latest international protocols to ensure that the best health care is provided to women.

In another context, the Medicines Authority of Egypt confirmed that breast cancer is considered a disease in which breast cells grow without control, leading to the formation of tumors. The authority confirmed that early detection of breast cancer significantly increases the chances of recovery and reduces the risk of the disease reaching dangerous levels.

Types of treatments available

The FDA explained that there are several treatment options available for breast cancer, depending on the type of cancer and the extent of spread. These treatments include:

• Surgery: To remove a tumor or infected breast.
• Radiotherapy: To target cancer cells.
• Chemotherapy: To eliminate circulation cells.
• Hormonal therapy: To prevent the effects of hormones on cancer cells.
• Targeted therapy: To target cells precisely.
• Immunotherapy: To strengthen the immune system to fight disease.

In many cases, a combination of these treatments is used to achieve the best results and to reduce the chances of the cancer returning.

Preventive measures to protect the health of students

As part of the Ministry of Health’s efforts to protect public health, prevention campaigns have been implemented for screening and early detection of diseases such as schistosomiasis, fasciola, and intestinal parasites. These initiatives target school students in all governments, with a focus on rural areas.

These efforts will coincide with the start of the new academic year 2024/2025, as the program aims to study about 4 million students, male and female, in 35,000 schools across the republic , to ensure the health and safety of students.
