Radio presenter Tytti Junna has gotten engaged to her boyfriend after five and a half years together. The engagement took place exactly one month ago on July 13, but until today they wanted to keep their secret happiness a secret.
Junna tells Iltalehte that she wanted to keep the engagement a secret for a long time and initially only told her close circle. However, she has openly worn an engagement ring on her finger.
– Exactly one person has noticed! And it’s weird that even though I’ve had that ring on that finger the whole time, only one person has noticed. I admitted to him right away what it was about, Junna says.
– Of course, I have told the people closest to me face to face, and for example my family knows. I just wanted to talk about it to myself and feel this happiness.
The Radio Rockin presenter colleagues hadn’t noticed the engagement ring on Junna’s finger either, although Junna has tried to hint in that direction a little.
– It’s funny when Harri and Kim have been sitting in the same studio with me for a couple of weeks now and I’ve been trying really hard to reach out so that they would notice, but no. They hadn’t noticed any change in me.
– Today, when they got to hear the news, it was a shock. And I noticed that even Sainio’s eyes got wet! Junna says with a laugh.
Now Junna has wanted to reveal her happy secret to others as well. A moment ago, he published a touching post on Instagram in which he is happy about his engagement.
– On July 13, 2024, I was asked a question that came out of the blue, but such a happy question, and by answering in the affirmative, I got a wonderful glitter on my finger. I have been carrying it with joy and pride for a month, Junna writes.

The proposal came as a complete surprise to him. Junna says that she didn’t think her husband would be able to keep such a big thing a secret.
– This came out of the box, as out of the box can ever come.
– My husband is such that if he buys a Christmas present, he can only keep it a secret for an hour, after which he reveals what he has bought because he is in such a good mood. That’s why this was so surprising, because I didn’t think he could keep it a secret like this.
Junna’s husband had organized a romantic and surprise proposal at the cottage.
– My husband had even asked my mother for permission, Junna says with delight.
– We were at a cottage, in a rowing boat and the sky really was ablaze with such a beautiful sunset when he proposed to me, he continued describing the beautiful moment.
