A judge has a petition from Nicole Young, Dr. Dre, turned down for a restraining order, writes TMZ. She filed for a restraining order after the rapper called her “a greedy bitch” in a song and feared for her safety.
Young asked specific for an urgent ban on contact with regard to domestic violence, after the entrepreneur has spoken so clearly about her. “In fact, he says in this song, shut up or you’ll regret it. That’s just a direct threat to me.”
Dr. Dre’s lawyer informed the judge that he has only seen his ex once since Young filed for divorce in June 2020. That was when she visited him in hospital after he suffered a cerebral infarction. Furthermore, the two have had no contact and he has no need for it.
The two announced last spring that they are going to divorce after 24 years of marriage. With his music career and electronics brand Beats By Dr. Dre has built up a fortune of about $ 820 million. Young wants half of that.
