The recordings were apparently made near the Belarusian town of Tsel in the center of the country.
Wagner fighters uploaded video footage themselves
The video and photo material apparently came from Wagner mercenaries themselves, who put it online on the Gray Zone channel – the official Wagner channel on Telegram.
A huge camp near Tsel, which had apparently been set up by Wagner members, had been visible on various satellite images since the beginning of July. In addition to the dwellings, numerous minibuses and vans and only a few military vehicles could be seen on the recordings, the British Ministry of Defense said. What happened to the numerous weapon systems and the heavy equipment that the Wagner mercenaries used in Ukraine is completely unclear.
Poland warned of “hybrid attacks” by the Wagner group
No military objects can be seen in the new recordings, which were distributed via Telegram. Poland’s Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki warned at the weekend of possible “hybrid attacks” by Wagner mercenaries on Poland. According to this, individual soldiers could try to cross the border into the EU disguised as migrants. The alleged Wagner camp near Tsel, however, is from Poland over 300 kilometers away.
