Brett Olson has been skating across European ice since 2016 and also laced up his skates for EC Red Bull Salzburg. At the age of 35 he is now hanging up his skates.
After four seasons in the American Hockey League (AHL), Olson moved to the Salzach in 2016, where he appeared in 39 regular season games and another eleven playoff games. The American scored 44 points. But the commitment in Salzburg only lasted for a short time, after just one year Olson was drawn to the DEL.
There the center stormed for ERC Ingolstadt for three years before moving to the Krefeld Penguins in 2020. In retrospect, he completed his last season for the Düsseldorfer EG – last year he slipped on the dress of the DEG 39 times and was able to book 14 points. After 215 DEL games and 115 points, Brett Olson has ended his active career.
