Ex-Real star unpacks: Angry message from Cristiano Ronaldo revealed | sport

He provoked and superstar Cristiano Ronaldo (39) apparently reacted promptly…

Ex-Real professional Antonio Cassano (42) now reveals that CR7 sent him angry messages!

In the podcast “The BSMT” Cassano explains: “I saw a number with the area code 0034 on my cell phone. 0034 is Spain. Then I saw a list with all the titles he (Ronaldo, editor) won, the goals, the statistics.”

And that wasn’t all, the former Italian international (39 international matches) further reveals: “And he sent me a voice message saying, ‘You disrespected me. You don’t have to do that again. You only scored 150 goals, only won four titles’. My answer was: ‘Dear Cristiano Ronaldo, listen to me: Do you know what the problem is? I disrespected you because I don’t like you as a player’.”

Rumms!

Background of the Ronaldo message: Cassano did not include Ronaldo in his list of the top ten players.

The ex-striker also said in the “Viva El Futbol” podcast in September: “Cristiano Ronaldo doesn’t know how to play football. He could score 3,000 goals, I don’t care at all.”

The 42-year-old also added: “(Gonzalo) Higuain, (Sergio) Aguero, (Karim) Benzema, (Robert) Lewandowski, (Zlatan) Ibrahimovic and (Luis) Suarez knew and know how to fit into the team Unlike Ronaldo, whose only goal is to score goals.”

Cassano himself was considered a mega-talent during his playing days, but he ruined a possible mega-career through indiscipline and controversial statements.

Cassano was under contract with Real between 2006 and 2008. In his second year, however, he was loaned to Sampdoria in Italy. Ronaldo (at Al-Nassr since January 2023) only came to Los Blancos from Manchester United in 2009 – so he never played with Cassano.
