Build A Rocket Boy, the new studio of former GTA producer Leslie Benzies, has shown the first real gameplay of Everywhere, their first game that they have been working on for several years now.
Everywhere in itself is a kind of hub that houses various game experiences, including many things created by players themselves. A new platform that fits in with titles such as Roblox and Fortnite.
The reveal trailer from a while ago (see trailer at the bottom) looked pretty good, the first real gameplay that has now been shown … a little less? In concrete terms, we see a game that was apparently made by one person in Arcadia, the part of Everywhere where users are given creative tools to do their own thing. In that respect it doesn’t look bad, of course, but nevertheless there seems to be little substance and inspiration in it. So not the best option to introduce your game.
Build A Rocket Boy will also launch creations in Everywhere. These “premium experiences”, such as MindsEye, would be similar to AAA games, but we will have to wait for that for now. Everywhere is also still in testing phases and it is not yet known when the game would actually be released.
