Ex-Naughty Dog and Sony Santa Monica form new AAA studio • Eurogamer.pt

To work on singleplayer adventure.

Sony Santa Monica veterans, Infinity Ward and Naughty Dog decided to open a studio to work on large-scale projects.

That’s No Moon has already received $100 million funding from the Korean Smilegate to work on an AAA singleplayer adventure and are already forming the team that will develop that game.

Taylor Kurosaki, formerly director of storytelling at Naughty Dog and Infinity Ward, is the creative director and will be joined by Jacob Minkoff, lead designer on The Last of Us, as the game’s director.

The project will also feature former employees of Bungie and EA and the goal is to reach 100 employees by 2022, but the game will not be released anytime soon.
