They were difficult years for Casandra “Cassie” Ventura: almost a year ago, the 38-year-old began her trial against ex-boyfriend Sean Combs (54).
Combs, aka «P. Diddy is said to have physically abused and raped his girlfriend at the time several times. He also drugged and intimidated her into having sex with male sex workers.
In March, video footage became public that showed Combs attacking the 38-year-old in a hotel hallway. He chases her, drags her to the ground and kicks her.

The singer actually had a probably successful music career ahead of her. But that was thwarted by Combs, whose label Cassie had signed, as the Mirror reports.
“Domestic violence has turned me into someone I never thought I would become. After a lot of hard work, I feel better today, but I will always recover from my past,” says Ventura.

She doesn’t want to give up, on the contrary: After Combs was arrested on September 16th, she wants to revive her career as a musician.
“She has so many unreleased records that she wants to release,” the newspaper quoted an insider as saying.

Cassie is said to have already started her first work: she is said to be working again on the title “Into It”, which has been in the starting blocks since 2010.

Meanwhile, Sean Combs is expected to remain in prison until his trial begins in May 2025. The judge had refused bail because of the danger he posed.
