According to Jacob, the relationship has been ‘under tension’ for weeks when the bomb finally bursts. After Carla breaks off the relationship a week earlier and the two reconcile, the B&B owner no longer sees a future for her. There were already “certain conflicts” with the couple, but comments from Carla’s sister that he is autistic, it seems that their relationship eventually ends.
According to Jacob, Carla is not for the cat either. After three weeks, the first cracks appeared in the relationship. He doesn’t want to hang out dirty laundry, but: “She started to have enormous ‘jealous attacks’. I had friends over and they wanted to help, and that’s something she didn’t like. That’s where the first big fight started. She has those ladies accused and humiliated.”

Jacob further denies that Carla had to suddenly leave his spacious shelter under the Portuguese sun. Carla claims on social media that she had a short deadline, but he contradicts that. “I just asked if her sister would leave the same day.” With 18 cubic meters of stuff she brought from the Netherlands under her arm, Carla has now found a new home.
Perhaps for the better, because after the breakup of the relationship, according to Jacob, things go completely wrong. “Then she thought unkind things and was unkind and difficult. She said I was dangerous. Her sister had become a kind of bodyguard who stood between us when there was no need for it.”
