Caroline added Show news about the quarrel between her and Martien, which is mentioned quite extensively in the biography about the life of the lord of the castle. “There are plenty of things that have touched me, because I had a very nice friendship with Martien. That hurts, but in the end everyone can believe their own story. I think that is the best”, said Caroline.
Still, Caroline decides not to elaborate on the question to tell her side of the story. “I have my story and I will keep it to myself.”

A while ago Caroline told me that she would love to enjoy some delicious wines with the Meilandjes now that they are living in the Netherlands again. But that door slammed right in her face. “If one wants it and the other doesn’t, then I say: it is. I respect that too. I think it’s a shame, but you know: a ship always moves forward and never backward.”
