Austria bows before Dominic Thiem. While the ski men deliver better results than ever after the resignation of exceptional athlete Marcel Hirscher, tennis fans at the Australian Open experience the best Thiem ever.
Austria’s tennis star not only takes the fifth continent by storm with its powerful and varied game, it also convinces the last doubters in this country that Thiem could only count on sand for success.
The ex-supervisor Günter Bresnik sprinkles the most beautiful roses on the 26-year-old from Lower Austria on ServusTV and in an interview in the “Kleine Zeitung”.

He does not want to say that Bresnik is satisfied with Thiem’s success. Only so much: “95 percent of Dominic’s training goes on my cap. And I really want him to win a Grand Slam tournament.”

58-year-old Bresnik judges Thiem’s comrades-in-arms in the “fight against the Big Three” and the place in the sun: “The boys lag too far behind Thiem. Zverev, Medvedev, Tsitsipas and Shapovalov are all very good players, but they are technically and physically inferior to Dominic. “
For the former trainer of u.a. Boris Becker, Henri Leconte, Patrick McEnroe, Horst Skoff, Stefan Koubek and Thiem were the decisive reasons why “Dominic’s overall package is the best”.
