Former Bundesliga professional Adam Hlousek is currently in hiding because the Czech has probably accumulated debts of around one million euros.
Zlin – The former Bundesliga professional Adam Hlousek played for 1. FC Nürnberg and VfB Stuttgart as well as in the 3rd division for 1. FC Kaiserslautern. This season, the now 34-year-old played for the Czech first division club Trinity Zlin. Allegedly, his contract has now been terminated after a temporary suspension, as the Czech has been in hiding since the beginning of the year. The reason for this is said to be high financial debts, such as the Czech portal sportnet reported.
His last coach Pavel Vrba said about his former player’s case: “I don’t know where Hlousek is. On sick leave or on the beach in Brazil? I last saw him earlier this year. Someone is still looking for him, but it’s not me.” This season, the defender only made three appearances for Zlin in September.
Ex-Bundesliga professional Hlousek with debts from previous companions
According to the report, Adam Hlouek is said to have debts with two of his former teammates. At Legia Warsaw, he used to play with Finland’s Kasper Hämäläinen, who is said to be waiting around €224,000 from his former team-mate. Ondrej Celustka, who is currently under contract with the Czech top team Sparta Prague, is said to have loaned Hlousek around 300,000 euros.
Celustka is said to have tried in the past, together with other former teammates, to confront Hlousek in the parking lot of the Zlin stadium – apparently without success. In addition, the eight-time Czech national player Hlousek is said to owe the state more than 34,000 euros in taxes because he is said to have failed to pay health and social security contributions.
Hlousek files for personal bankruptcy and is still untraceable
Meanwhile, Adam Hlousek’s lawyers have probably filed for their client’s personal bankruptcy. Currently, however, the former Bundesliga professional has continued to disappear without a trace. The repayment of his debts is therefore currently unclear and will probably keep his former teammates busy for some time. (jsk)
