Liverpool striker swapped due to injury
Jonathan Rodríguez replaces Darwin Núñez in Uruguay’s squad for the March games against Japan (24th) and South Korea (28th).
The Uruguayan federation only informed that the exchange is due to injury and Liverpool announced that Darwin, who was substituted in the second half against Real Madrid a few days ago in the Champions League, will recover at his training centre.
Jonathan Rodríguez was at Benfica between 2014/2015, but left unsuccessfully. He currently represents America, from Mexico.
The squad does not include, for example, Luís Suárez and Cavani, the other two attacking figures. Coates and Ugarte, from Sporting, are on the list for the two friendly games.
