Bayern Munich’s ex-coach Julian Nagelsmann is said to be the new coach at Paris Saint-Germain, according to a media report. Nagelsmann is to succeed Christophe Galtier, who only took up the position last year, according to the largest French sports newspaper “L’Équipe”. Accordingly, an agreement is imminent, there are only details to be clarified.
According to the report, the 35-year-old will be joined by a very prominent assistant coach, long-time Franceinternational Thierry Henry. The 45-year-old made 123 appearances for his country in his career, scoring 51 goals and becoming world champion in 1998. Most recently, Henry worked as an assistant coach for the Belgian national team. Nagelsmann is also currently without a club after being kicked out at Bayern in the spring.
