Ewaa participates in the third Abu Dhabi Integrated Mental Health Conference

The Abu Dhabi Shelter and Humanitarian Care Center “Ewaa” of the Department of Community Development is participating as a golden sponsor for the third edition of the Abu Dhabi Integrated Mental Health Conference, which will be held on January 20 and 21, at the Abu Dhabi National Exhibition Center (ADNEC).
This cooperation comes within the framework of the ongoing partnership between the Center, the Department of Health in Abu Dhabi, and the Abu Dhabi Health Services Company “SEHA”, the two organizers of the conference. To strengthen the social sector system in Abu Dhabi.
The center also participates in the activities of the conference with a session on domestic violence and psychological trauma, and activities to promote its services and its role in providing individual and group psychological support and family counseling within the rehabilitation and empowerment programs it provides for cases of violence.
During the conference, the center will display a number of artworks created by the cases residing in the shelters as part of the art therapy and psychological rehabilitation sessions.
Sarah Shuhail, Director General of the Abu Dhabi Center for Shelter and Humanitarian Care “Ewaa”, said: “The efforts of the Ewaa Center towards renouncing violence and instilling the values ​​of love and brotherhood depend mainly on efforts to promote mental health among members of society in Abu Dhabi and pour into it.”
