The Savate Fabre club has just opened its doors in mid-September. It currently has fifty licensees divided into two training sessions, Monday and Thursday, from 8:15 p.m. to 10:15 p.m., in the old gymnasium.
« Savate is a combat sport which combines fists and feet with a specific codification. This sport allows relaxation, the way to defend oneself, while respecting the opponent. Our club currently has, among our licensees, around 50% of women, of all ages, from 10 to 77 years old ”, says Roger Fabre, State graduate professor.
The training sessions are also supervised by three qualified coaches: Sébastien Bouet, yellow glove leader, Kévin Quesnot, white glove leader and Yannick Tharaud, white glove leader.
Roger Fabre, State graduate professor from a French savate club, recently received the gold medal corresponding to forty years of teaching. “This is a great mark of recognition for my years of teaching and my former titles that I obtained in French boxing. I thank the French National Boxing Federation for this distinction ”, he declared.
