Emancipation and health: to live well
- After the Cabaret Frappé and libraries, museums are also going free!
From the great annual festive times to places open all year round, free admission promotes, for many, a sensitive encounter with the arts and culture.
This is why the Natural History Museum, the Stendhal Museum and the museum’s permanent collections will be free for everyone all year round.
- An even more inclusive price for artistic practice
The first measures taken in 2017 in favor of the opening of the conservatory with regional influence have already made it possible to amplify the diversity of the students welcomed. To amplify this dynamic, the solidarity pricing of the conservatory will be reinforced. It will now start free, for all families with a QF<380 (cela concerne actuellement >100 students) and will decrease for all families with a QF<1200.
For example :
1 a QF380 paid 37€ per year. From now on, he will pay 0€ per year.
2 a QF700 paid 162€ per year. He will now pay €80 per year.
3 a QF1000 paid €262 per year. He will now pay €196 per year.
In addition, the scholarship scheme will be extended to benefit twice as many families.
- School supplies: towards free access for every child
The City is committed to working in partnership with the services of the Ministry of National Education to achieve total free school supplies for each schoolgirl and schoolboy in Grenoble by putting an end to the additional lists still too often asked of families.
- Adolescents and young people as a special point of attention
Young people are particularly weakened by the successive crises affecting our society. It is necessary to further strengthen our actions to allow them to access their rights and to guarantee that everyone has the opportunities to emancipate themselves.
• The City will strengthen its presence with these young people, in particular by increasing the number of youth correspondents across the city, thus allowing you to be closer to those who are far from institutions or isolated
• The “resource” associations that work in partnership with the City to respond to the issues identified in the Youth framework deliberation (mental health and isolation, young people with reduced rights including unaccompanied minors, addiction to screens and video games, homework help, media decryption, harassment, secularism etc.) will also benefit from increased financial support.
- Towards a city of popular education
Popular education is deployed at all times outside the family, school and work, at all ages of life. With the scheduled end of holiday camps and the difficulties encountered by associations at the national level, inequalities in access to leisure time and educational and emancipatory holidays are increasing.
The social shield will make it possible to strengthen support for cross-cutting popular education associations that work with remote audiences. An envelope will also be specially dedicated to our holiday centers (Maison des Collines and Mont-Saint-Martin) in order to continue their renovation and to strengthen the teams responsible for welcoming the thousands of Grenoble residents who visit them during their vacation.
- An experiment to reinvent support for actors in a working-class neighborhood
Creation of a participatory financing system, dedicated to a district and capable of financing associative projects in the broad sense, in a multi-annual logic. Support will be offered in order to work on the sustainability of funding, after 3 years, on common law mechanisms, as the city contract theoretically proposes.
It is an innovative co-management of public funds, in a logic of neighborhood and project rather than public space and investment. This experimentation will be carried out with citizens and associations, and which can contribute to resolving the distension of the link between some of the inhabitants and the associative world of the neighborhoods with the institutions.
- Permanent positions for children’s extracurricular time
The start of the 2022 school year was an opportunity to create the positions of directors of extracurricular leisure reception, positions of assistants and coordinators. These agents have a key role: they ensure a permanent dialogue with teachers and families, and adapt educational orientations to the specific needs of the territory. These are now full-time tenured positions.
On the horizon of the start of the 2023 school year, the City will continue to professionalize and perpetuate the agents working in the field of extracurricular activities.
- Health for all
The City of Grenoble will increase its subsidy to health actors and actresses. In addition, the City will provide premises to enable the installation of a pediatric health center in the Villeneuve district. A new health center is under study, in a district which will be identified by its medical under-density and its need for professionals. In terms of equality in terms of access to health, the City will undertake work to set up a municipal mutual fund. It will also increase health mediation services. The City is also planning the creation of a project manager position in Addiction and Harm Reduction.
