Evo Morales is investigated in Bolivia for trafficking and rape of minors – 2024-10-06 08:48:44

The Prosecutor’s Office of Tarija, in Bolivia, presented documents that reveal a minor trafficking network led by then-president Evo Morales.

For this reason, the Prosecutor’s Office in that country ordered an arrest warrant against Evo Morales for statutory rape, trafficking and human trafficking.ordered an arrest warrant against Evo Morales for statutory rape, human trafficking and trafficking. However, a few hours later, the prosecutor who gave the order was dismissed.

The formal complaint was filed by a young woman from Tarija named “Cindy” who became pregnant at the age of 15 after being forced to have sexual relations with Morales and shortly after ended up becoming the mother of a girl.

The girl’s own parents would also be accomplices since they alleged that they handed over their daughter in exchange for benefits.

According to another document, Morales waited until the girl from Tarija was 18 years old to be able to register the birth certificate of the daughter he had with the minor. The number of the birth certificate with series 128,023 is found in book 85, item 1 of Official Office 60,301,002 of the Civil Registry of Bolivia.

However, it was also evident that Morales had what he called a “presidential youth guard” that was made up of children between 14 and 15 years old. Cindy, the complainant, was part of that trafficking network.

“The teenager was practically forced to have sexual intercourse with citizen Evo Morales Ayma, who was president, with the outcome (…) and in order to satisfy her sexual desires, that she became pregnant,” the investigation details.

Regarding this, the Minister of Government, Eduardo Del Castillo, reported that the girl from Tarija, Cindy, would not be the only victim and there would be more women complaining against Evo Morales.

He showed that a gigantic network of 14-year-old girls who made up the former president’s “presidential guard” were in this same group, but argued that “not all of them are already in Bolivia,” the official concluded in a press conference.
